WildSkins… you keep my arms warm… Oh… you make my run and fall workouts so GROOVY!
HA! Ok – so I’m pretty bad at rewriting lyrics to an old song, but you get the picture. Last week Wednesday I got a pair of Wildskins Arm Warmers in the mail to review. Now Wednesdays also happen to be my oldest daughter Sierra’s soccer night…
Guess what happened when she laid her eyes on my AWESOME brand spanking new Wildskins arm warmers?
Yep, she stole them because: “..they’re so funky like me and they match my uniform!“.
It was a cool night, so after much begging and pleading by Sierra, I let her wear them. I wanted her to wear a long-sleeved shirt under her uniform, but she really insisted on wearing my WildSkins. I gotta admit they really were a lot easier for her to slide down to wear around her wrists in the game when she got hot, which she would not have been able to do if she had listened to me…..
After her game she reluctantly gave them back to me so that I could try them out for my run, which is when I found out why she liked them so much – they’re awesome!
They’re made of stretch nylon spandex, have great thumbholes for my thumbs and stayed up on my arms really well. I was worried because I have fairly thin arms, but they fit me nicely and didn’t fall down, yet are stretchy enough to accomodate any other sized arms. They were a bit too long for me, but the thumbholes allowed me to bunch them around my wrists so that they weren’t flopping around oddly while I ran, and there’s a handy little pocket to carry my work ID in so that I’m allowed back into the building after my lunch time run – how cool is that?!
These armwarmers are far from boring!!! There are lots of funky colors to chose from too – like “Orange Burst“, “Hey Hawaii“, “She Camo“, and the red “Firecracker” design that I received:
RUN YOGA BIKE WALK GOLF GARDEN HIKE..
Let your imagination go Wild!
How do you keep your arms warm while working out?
– Thank you to WildSkins for sending me a pair of the firecracker red WildSkins to review. I was not compensated for this post and all opinions are my own. –
