This is my Mamavation post for Monday, October 4, 2010.
How was your week last week? Did your drink your water? Get your beauty sleep? And eat your 7-8 servings of fruits and veggies? (Remember: fruit and veggies are chock full of fiber!).
This past week was full of it’s usual busy-ness. Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â I worked, I walked, I played, I walked some more. Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â I walked 15km this week, bringing my preggo total to: 488.5km!! Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â I’m almost there!
I had my 34 week Midwife appointment – my blood pressure is back to being low, better than being too high, but also has it’s own set of complications. Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Baby is growing well – still measuring a week ahead. Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â My next appointment is at 36 weeks, then I go weekly until our newest bundle of joy decides it’s time to join the family. Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Hubby and I continued to nest and get things ready for the baby – the baby room is all done and my hospital bag is 3/4 of the way packed (the clothes are washed and piled – just not in the bag yet).
The weeks are flying by! Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â I’m 10 days away from when I gave birth to my oldest daughter! Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Yes, she was early – but wow! Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â There’s a full-sized baby in me! Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â You know what? Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â I STILL feel awesome! Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â The good food, exercise etc… AMAZING!
So amazing that I offered to walk the CIBC Run for the Cure 5K with my cousin in memory of our grandma who died of breast cancer in 2002:
Today we walked 5K together in under an hour – I felt great, except the fact that I had to go washroom by the end of the walk. Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â An hour is a LONG time when you’re preggo!
So here’s a summary of what I accomplished this week:
Monday: Walked around the mall to buy much needed baby stuff (nursing pads, nursing bras, lasinoh etc…)
Tuesday: Couldn’t workout at lunch because I had my midwife appointment.
Wednesday: Did my Walk and Tone mp3 Workout
Thursday: Did myÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â Walk and Tone mp3 Workout
Friday: Did my Walk and Tone mp3 Workout
Saturday: Rest/clean my house.
Sunday: CIBC Run for the Cure 5k
