This is my Mamavation post for Monday, June 21, 2010.

Hey everyone!

Not me, but I would love for my hubby to take a pic like this of me

This past week was awesome! I felt great, mostly ate great and stayed active. I have to admit that I did indulge in a kids McNugget Buddy Happy Meal at McDonald’s Thursday night, rather than having my usual salad, and had fries Friday night and ice cream on Saturday… But those were my cheats – all of the rest of the time I ate healthy. Truthfully, I probably could use some extra calories these days, but it should be in the form of more fruits, veggies and proteins instead of junk. I have a regular eating routine that maintains my weight and adjusting it with bigger portion sizes is hard to remember to do. Thankfully the few little kicks I started to feel this have reminded me that this isn’t just about me anymore :)

Working out… I pretty much followed my workout plan from last week – YAY! I did my Boot Camp Fitness class on Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday I ran 5K, Saturday I ran 2K (and spent 2 hours cleaning out my hubby’s car for Father’s Day), and on Sunday I ran 5K. Yep – I met my Choose You Healthy Challenge of being active for a minimum of 30 minutes 5 times in a week – woot!

Next week… My workout plan is:

Monday: Work out with my awesome trainer at lunch
Tuesday: 5K walk/run around the park on my lunch
Wednesday: No workout: 20 Week Ultrasound (I’ll have to post the pic afterwards for ya!).
Thursday: 5K walk/run around the park on my lunch
Friday: 5K walk/run around the park on my lunch
Saturday: 5K walk/run around the park on my lunch
Sunday: Rest day/house work day.

How was your week? How did you do in week #3 of the Choose You Challenge? Have you been struggling to be motivated to be active? If so, why don’t you join in with week #4 of the Choose You Healthy Challenge? Just leave a comment on the original challenge post so that I can send you a log form for this week.

Have a great week everyone!

PS – congrats to last week’s Mamavation Sista of the Week winner: Rachel (@Rachel_L) !!
