I have a confession to make: Working out at home doesn’t come naturally for me. Although I’ve done a TON of different fitness classes, and know a TON of different exercises when I’m at home my mind goes blank on what exercises to do, and how hard to push myself. I usually give up well before I’ve reached failure or fatigue. I’m really not pushing myself as hard at home as I need to in order to see results. The DVD Box Set has 4 DVD’s each with 2 different workouts on them for a total of 8 FIT CHICKS Signature workouts. All of the workouts are high intensity interval training for maximum calorie burn. The workouts are all about 20 to 30 min long (I got got so caught up in the videos that I didn’t time them) and give easy to follow advanced and beginner options. I liked that the workouts kept my heart rate up while giving me the benefits of strength training – it was like a one, two punch to my metabolism without taking up too much of my day.
As a bonus the box set also comes with an 8 Day “Chick Approved” Meal Plan online. The meal plan has quite a few nutritious 5 ingredient recipes to try and an awesome guide to green smoothies. My favourite recipe was the Sexy Mexy Power Bowl that I found to be really easy to make:
