This past week I’ve been bummed out… Seeing all of the tweets, posts and pictures from the good times everyone had meeting each other, networking and learning at Fitbloggin has been hard to swallow.  I was supposed to be there.  I was honoured with a Livebloggin position.  I had to give it up due to lack of sponsorship.
This morning I’m reminded of WHY I gave up the FANTASTIC opportunity:
That’s my oldest daughter Sierra…. In her pajamas… and her shin pads and soccer socks.  Her first soccer game of the season is TONIGHT  - TEN hours from now!  I bet she’d be wearing her WHOLE uniform right now if we had it (we’ll pick it up tonight at her game).  I missed out on Fitbloggin this year, but for a good reason – soccer and summer camp for my girls.  She’s wildly excited and has been talking about soccer and camp for months. Proof?  Her “writing folder” from school only has soccer stories in it.  Other little girls may write about princesses and ponies – but not mine.  Soccer – just like Mama.
I made the right choice, don’t you think?
