As many of you know, I’m really big on making “To Do” lists, planning my workouts and training, and tracking my workouts – how far I ran, how I felt, the weather etc… I typically sync my Nike+GPS data with Dailymile.com for the tracking part, but I didn’t have a planner for all of my planning. As a result, I have lists ALL OVER THE HOUSE!
But alas, Quo Vadis Planners came to my rescue (and to the rescue of my family). Now I have a cute little pink planner (the Journal 21 model) to keep me organized! Because it started in November, I’ve already begun using it to plan out my to do’s, baby Amber’s appointments, the kids school events and my training for the Toronto Women’s Half-Marathon I want to do in May.
My new planner has so many great features!
- Refillable
- 16 months monthly, November 2010 to February 2012
- 12 months daily, January to December
- 8 AM to 9 PM schedule
- Soft green tinted vellum paper
- 72g, acid-free and pH neutral paper
- Annual planning calendars for 2011 and 2012
- Current and following month calendars
- Elegant round corners — tear-off corner opens to day in progress
- Sewn binding, lays flat when open
- Full line per half-hour
- Blank space for daily notes
- Bound in address book
Guess what? Because I LOVED my journal so much, I asked Quo Vadis if I could give one away to one of my lucky readers… They said yes and sent me a sexy purple Journal 21 to give away to you!

I have subscribed to your blog, followed you on twitter, liked you on facebook & tweeted about the contest. I would LOVE to win the journal. I my goal is to drop 2 or 3 pant sizes by spring and to keep going so I can not only be healthy, but also look good for my potential trip to Europe in the fall.
I don’t know if this is considered a fitness goal but I want to run the Chicago Marathon in 2011.
My fitness goals for this year are:
1. keep my knee healthy
2. PR at the half
3. run my first full
4. run Ragnar

My fitness goals… a sub 55 10K for Memorial Day and a return to handstand push-ups for my birthday. Go big or go home
Fitness Goals for 2011 that I can’t complete WITHOUT To-do lists and a journal:
Speed & Strength!
I have the goal of getting my running speed back, after these years of running distances. Now, I am still going to run marathons, but I am going to work on shorter distances and try to get PR times for the Half Marathon and shorter distances. After all, in 2011, I’ll turn 40… and in Running Years that makes you a “master runner” (WHAHAHHHAHAH)
I have to concede to nature and the fact that my 2 boys are just going to get bigger and heavier. I need to work on getting stronger… I’m thinking of a goal like Mark Wahlberg in Date Night… this way I can not only carry both of them (for as long as they want me… because soon Dad will be so, “uncool”) but also to be able to put them in their place.
So I have weights to lift and 400m repeats to track… and how can I do that without a stylish journal? With a name like “Quo Vadis”, it HAS to make you more organized!

Great idea! I would love this as I keep track of my own workouts and goals as well as clients goals and workouts and everything that goes on with my family (where would husbands be without wives? seriously.) I could use a better organization system!

My fitness goal is to get back to my healthy weight, and be able to do the things I could 10 years ago – endurance, flexibility, enthusiasm. I’m a big journaler, keep a food journal at present, and it would be great to have a proper journal to track everything!

My fitness goals are to reach a healthy weight for me an my family because my grandmother and all her sisters died from the same abdominal cancer which grew while they were over weight. I need to schedule my fitness in because without it planned things just tend to sneak by.

Goals:
1) Run a sub 1:55 half marathon.
2) feel good enough that I can post bathing suit pics of myself on FB.
Would live to have a list/planning space dedicated only to me and my fitness goals… Rather than playdates activities and appointments for the kids.
