- Weekly Motivational Newsletter
Every Monday morning I send out a motivational newsletter to provide helpful tips on how to stay healthy and to keep you motivated. I want to cheer you on towards fitness, so please SUBSCRIBE to my newsletter. Here ‘s a link to my fitness newsletter archives if you missed a newsletter.
- Recipes & Recipe Submission Form
I ‘m an absolutely horrible cook and need help! For me, eating healthy means eating raw fruits and veggies because I have no idea how to cook these things into healthy meals. When I do cook I heat up those nasty processed foods, i.e.: Macaroni and cheese, instant side dishes etc … I need your help! One of my goals for 2010 is to learn how to cook for my family, and this is where you can help me! I ‘ve added a RECIPE SUBMISSION FORM to the Fitness Cheerleader so you can share YOUR favourite healthy recipes with me AND to my readers. If you submit a recipe I will give it a try, review it and provide a shoutout to you in a post. Your recipe will also appear in the Recipe section of Fitness Cheerleader.

- Ask Janice
This is a feature where you can ask me any health, fitness, exercise, injury or nutrition questions you have. I have a B.Sc in Kinesiology and a Certificate in Athletic Therapy so I ‘m qualified to answer any of the questions you send me. You can submit any questions you have to me using my CONTACT FORM. I will try to answer as many of your questions as I can each week. If your question is chosen, I will include a link to your website in the response.
- Weekly Polls
Every week I will have a new poll related to health and fitness. I will write up a post introducing each poll, and providing the results of the previous week ‘s polls. The poll will also be available to view in my sidebar for you to vote. Please use my CONTACT FORM if you would like to submit and poll suggestions.
- Mamavation Mondays Post and Mr. Linky
I ‘m a fitness cheerleader for Mamavation.com. What is Mamavation you ask? Every Monday the Mamavation Moms write up their Mamavation post outlining their progress from the week before, what they ‘ve learned and what their plan is for next week. I will also write up my own Mamavation post so that you can help cheer me on – the Fitness Cheerleader needs help too! You can also participate by writing up your Mamavation Monday post and linking it up in the Mr. Linky that will be included in my Mamavation Post ” that way we can cheer each other on. Please also join myself and Bookie Boo on MomTV at 10 pm EST on Monday nights!
- Featured Fit Friends
Every week I feature a fit friend ” this is a friend of mine who is working their ass off towards their fitness goals, and is striving to be a good role model for their family. Please use my CONTACT FORM to introduce yourself if you would like to be featured.
Occasionally I will host health and fitness product giveaways. Please use my CONTACT FORM if you have a health, nutrition or fitness product that you would like me to review and host a giveaway for.
In the future I would like to add a discussion forum so we can all cheer each other on towards our fitness goals. I am also hoping to host a virtual Ã¢â‚¬Å“Learn-to-run Ã‚Â clinic that is designed to help you learn to run a 5K.
